GERMANY AGREES
TO JOIN LEAGUE INQUIRY COMMITTEE;
(Australian-New Zealand' Cable Assn.) BERLIN, Ist April. ' Cabinet unanimously decided to cooperate with the Committee appointed at Geneva to inquire into the composition of the League of Nations Council.
At the close of the League's sessions last month a Geneva message, was received which stated: "It is understood that the Committee to examine the question of the reorganisation of the League Council will include members of the Council and representatives of Switzerland, Poland, Germany, China, and the Argentine. Tie last-named is an interesting inclusion in view of Argentine's withdrawal from the League three years ago on account of a divergence of opinion, notAbly in regard to the composition of the Council. It is also noteworthy that Germany is included, though not yet a member. The report of the Committee will be presented in September.
