DANCING.
The Violet Assembly will hold its Saturday night carnival in the Early Settlers' Hall, Jack Harper's Orchestra supplying the latest music. Thirty prizes will be given away in the lucky waltz. Next Tuesday night, there will be a Streamer Carnival, and dancing will bo kept up till midnight. Next Saturday a plain and fancy dress carnival is to be held, when prizes will be awarded for the various costumes. The Black and White Orchestra hold their opening night on Thursday next, the Bth inst., at New Century Hall. Oldtime dancing to the latest popular music is their specialty.
