LONDON, Ist April. Proposals for writing down the assets by approximately £280,086 were announced Informally at a meeting of Joseph Nathan and Co., the chairman describing the scheme as a [sincere attempt to place shareholders in a position of receiving income and, to put the assets on * proper value In relation to world prices. Meetings for authorisation of the proposal will be held at the end of the month.
