PHISONERS SENTENCED

AUCKLAND, This Day.
At the Supreme Court to-day, the following prisoners were sentenced: Robert Stephcnson Wake, indecent assault on a girl at Kawakawa, two years' hard labour; John Roderick Skipper, false pretences at Gisborne, probation for two years; William Bergerson, carnal knowledge at Taumarunui, to come -up for sentence if called' upon. The Judge stated in this case that ths girl was partly responsible and the couple had .since feepa married.
