Spiritualists crowded Mr. Justice Eve's Chancery Court to hear a motion raising tho novel point of copyright of spirit communication. Miss Cummins, daughter of the Court Physician,* des-, cribed as an automatic medium, Bought to restrain Mr. Bligh Bond, a psychic worker of world-wide reputation, from publishing "The Chronicle of Cleophas." Both claimed the authorship of a script puiyorted to be a continuation of tho Acts of the Apostles. Miss Cummins claims to have produced tho "Chronicle" in a trance.* Mr. Bond asserts that his hand rested on that of Miss Cummins, and that therefore the "chronicle" was the result of his psychic co-operation. Counsel explained that the first article was an interesting addition to the story of Annanias and Sapphira. Mr. Justice Eve: "I thought she was connected with it." He asked whether the automatic writing was in English or Greek. ' ■ ' He was informed that the chapter of Annanai* was in Miss Cummins's handwriting, The case was adjourned.
