DUNEDIN, 28th March. Grange won the first, grade cricket championship by defeating Dunedin. Dunedin had made 90 in their first in-

nings, and Grange had to pass that total to win the premiership, '.t one time four wickets were down for 35, but Alloo and M'Gregor made a stand, and knocked up the necessary runs. The innings closed for 201 (Alloo 55, Grant 27 not out, Paul 25, and M'Gregor 24). Torrarce took.two wickets for i;/ runs, Casey three for 45, Graham two for 18, and Cherry two for 27.
