' 'With, the object of frustrating the action taken, by the Management Committee of the Seamen's Union for the le-registration of the union, a meeting of .members was convened by Mr. Jacob Johnson. When Mr. T. Walsh, general secretary, attempted to take charge there was ah immediate uproar, and he was -howled down. A motion of noeonfidence in him was carried and he left the building, accompanied by other federal officials and supporters. The meeting decided to demand the withdrawal of the application for re-regis-tration.
