GIRL GUIDES'SWIMMING CONTEST

On Saturday last crowds of blue-clad girls could have been seen wending their way towards tho Te Aro Baths, in company with their officers. The event was. an important one, for tho new silver cup presented by Mrs. A. Duncan, of Wellington, for the senior swimming Guide championship was to be competed for. Tho season is now a little late for swimming sports, but the weather was' kind, and a large number of entries fir oicl\ event arld"<l to the fun.
