When Bishop West-Watson arrived it Lyttelton. this morning ho was mot oy the whole of the Christchurch elovgy and welcomed to the province, and was escorted over the hill by way of Su.nner to Christehurch. This "route ou<l been .'followed by Bishop Harper seventy years ago. "I have r.cacl of Canterbury pilgrims," said the Bisirip, "and it was a thrilling moment to -He the bridle track over which rhe founders of tho province passed, hi crossing tho hill, I had tho imprcssun that I should unloosen my shoes, as this was holy ground."
