• Sir Donald M'Gavin arrived from the South this morning. ' Mr. E. P. Lee, M.P., was a passenger by the Maori from Lyttelton this morning. The' Hon. F. J. Dr. Harrop went to England about the middle of 1923 to carry out historical research at Cambridge on the legal and political relations between England and New Zealand, and entered Ci as College, where he has since been working with Mr. E. A. Bcnians, one of the editors of tae Cambridge History of the British Emphe, now in course of production. During his vacations Dr. Harrop has been attached to the literary staff of the "Daily Mail," as well an being a regular con ' ibutor of special articles to the Dominion newspapers.
