A COUNCIL BY-ELECTION
In the event of Mr. A. L. Montoith resigning his seat as a City Councillor, consequent upon his appointment as the unions' assessor upon the Arbitration Court, a by-election will be necessary. It is practicaly certain that Mr. C. 11. Chapman will be a candidate.
