A vordiet of aceidenta! death with no blame attachablo to anyone was returned at the inquest on Daniel Nolan, a guard ■ewll pvp'l by the Pn^'ic Works on the Te Eoti-Opunake Railway, who whs killed on loth Alarcli by ueing crushed between the buifers of two trucks. DUNEDIN, 22nd March. Mary Soannery, aged 11' years, residing at Kauana, Southland, was admitted to the hospital last night, suffering fram a fracture to the left leg, received through being knocked down by a motor-car.
