ANGLEM POINT LIGHT
REPORTED TO HAVE -BECOME EXTINGUISHED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, 22nd March. The master of the ketch Waterlily (Captain Roderique) reports that the light at Anglem Point is out. The light, which is characterised in the New Zealand Nautical Almanac as "unwatched," is visible from 137 degrees through south to 331) degrees. It is obscured elsewhere.
Anglem Point i.i at the southern entrance of Patterson Inlet, Stewart Island. The light is no'; attended, and domprises one white light flr.shing every fifteen seconds. It is mounted on a white tower 80 feet above high water, and is visible for eight miles in clear weather.
