WAIRARAPA UNION.
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") CAETEBTON, This Day. The Management Committee of the Wairarapa EUgby Union met at ■ Carterton on Saturday, night, Mr. W. G. Lamb presiding. It was decided to apply for the use of the Park Oval, Masterton, ■ and the recreation reserves at' Greytown and Featherston. ■ ■ • . The purchase and distribution of school footballs was left to :'-.e secretary to attend to. The New Zealand Eugby TXnion_ forwarded particulars of the competition among primary schools for the cup preBented by Mr. D. L. Taylor, of Vancouver. The New South Wales Union wrote thanking the Wairarapa Union for the hospitality extended to its team when visiting the Wairarapa last season. The newly-formed Old Boys' Club, Masterton, applied to have blue and gold registered as its, colours, and advised that it would enter three teams in the championships. It was decided to support the Ashburton Sub-Union in its application for direct affiliation with the New Zealand Union. The Masterton United Friendly Societies were granted 10th April for their > annual seven-a-side tournament. A special meeting of delegates is to be held to: deal with the Eules Eevision Committee's, report- at a later date. ■ : The Featherston and Red Star Clubs forwarded notices of motion which will be considered- at the annual meeting.
