PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
First National's latest masterpiece, "The Dark Angel," now shovyinfj at the Paramount Theatre each evening, may truly be described as one of the greatest films ever offered to a Wellington audience. In its dynamic portrayal of the effect of war on England, of the fighting on the Western Front, and of the aftermath when peace had come to the world and suffering was felt only by those who had lost their dear ones in the great struggle, it achieves dramatio heights. A splendid supporting programme includes a Gaumoiit Grapuic,' a beautiful scenic, and a "Felix, the Cat" cartoon. The Paramount Solo Orchestra of ten artists plays excellent incidental music.
