INQUEST
"There does not seem to have been any want of care displayed by the employers," said Mr., E. Page, S.M., yesterday at the inquest on Ernest Archibald Liddecoat, a married man, whose death was caused by a fall of earth -which" occurred while he was working for Murphy Bros, drainpipe makers, on Monday. The loosening of the bank was attributed to the very heavy rain which fell the night prior to the fatality. The verdict was that Liddecoat died in the Wellington Hospital froni injuries received through an accident due. to a fall of clay.
