DAMAGE IN NEW SOUTH WALES
SYDNEY, 11th February. The bush fires in the Murraguldrie pine forest, in the Wagga Wagga district, caused between £40,000 and £50,000 of damage, and completely disorganised the big State forestry scheme, throwing its development back five years.
