'As the American athletes will not be competing in the Now Zealand amateur athletic championships, to-morrow's meeting under the auspices of the' Wellington A.A. Centre is regarded as the most important at which Seholz and Hahn will appear. Among those to oppose the visitors will be five of New Zealand's foremost runners. E. A. Bose, who is contesting the milo with Hahn, holds the Australasian, 'New Zealand, and "Wellington championships for one and three miles, and also the Australasian and New Zealand record • for three miles. M. Leadbetter and CH. Jenkins are joint holders of the Wellington provincial 100 yards championship, while tne former holds- the' New Zealand 100 yards title (previously held by Jenkins), and the latter is the Wellington 220 yards champion. D. Paris •was Wellington's 220 yards champion last season.. All three —Leadbetter, Jenkins, and Paris—will be meeting Seholi over fheir favourite distances. W.
