. ♦ A DAIBY FACTORY DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ELTHAM, This Day. The Opunakc Dairy Company's factory was totally destroyed by fire at half-past ten last night. There was a strong wind and no fire brigade or water supply. The destruction of the factory was soon complete. Particulars are meagre, and the insurances are not available. HAWERA, This Day. The building, plant, and stocks of butter in store (amounting approximately to 45001b weight) were destroyed. The cause of the outbreak is unknown. Insurances on the building £800, on the plant and machinery £1500, on stores £350, in the Royal Office.
