The bush' fire at Gerogery, fifteen miles north of Albury, is alleged to have been caused by sparks from a railway engine. It damaged much valuable land, and 1500 sheep were also burnt to death. The fire is now burning towards Culeairn, 350. miles south of Sydney. Other fires in the Albury district (near the Victorian border) ( are still raging. ,
