The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergnsson, and Lady Alice Fergusson were entertained at a conversazione at Tauranga Town Hall on Tuesday night, and yesterday morning they visited places of historical interest, including the old military cemetery, the old mission station, and the site of the Gate Pa fight, as weD as local schools and the hospital.
