PLEA OF GUILTY
, ♦ A SEKTES OP FRAUDS. (By Telegraph —Prew Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. At tho Police Court Henry Lloyd, agod 61, with a long list of aliases, pleaded guilty to numerous charges of forging cheques for a total amount of £1396 and obtaining £139 from soven business firms. He introduced himself as H. A. Lloyd, proprietor of Lake Honae, Rotorua, and asked that quotations for goods be sent to Lake House, addressed to H. Lloyd. Some days later he called on various firms, and selected goods, tendering cheques in each case £10 in excess of invoice, and taking the balance in cash. He was arrested bexore the goods were sent out.
