OSMIRIDIUM IN TASMANIA.

The value of the osmiridium Held In the Adams Elver district, Tasmania, Is indicated by the production figures and values which have been made available by the Secretary of Mines (Mr; W. A. Prettyman). The total osmiridium won in Tasmania during 1925 was 32650z 12dwt, valued at £103,570. Of tihs 20300z. worth £90,300, came from the Adams River, and was won during the last seven months of the year. It is stated that the mining done so far has not seriously diminished the resources of the field.
