NOT GUILTY
AN OMISSION IN DEPOSITIONS.
(By Telegraph.-—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. In the charge of manslaughter against Amy Glenn <*y the unlawful use of an instrument, Mr. Justice Adams held that owing to an omission the depositions of the dead girl were not admissable. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty, at his Honour's direction, and the woman was discharged. The Judge said tho omission was due to the circumstances under which depositions were taken,. the girl dying within a few hours. The Magistrate who took them was experienced and did the best he could.
