FIRE AT PETONE
The Petone Fire Brigade received a call this morning to a fire in a washhouse belonging to Mr. J. Sherwin, Kirk's avenue. The fire was well under control before the arrival of the brigade. The washhouse jyas slightly gutted. The building was insured in the Stat? Fire Office.
