Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house under da.te of the sth instant-—
"Lamb.—New Zealand prime crossbred lamb: Canterbury, heavy 7V4d, light llVid.; North Island, light lid. (Quotations for light lamb are new season's.)
"Mutton.—New Zealand prime crossbred mutton Canterbury heavy and light not quoted; North Island, heavy 6%d, light Id. Market Is weaker. Less demand.
"Beef.—New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds i%d, fores 3%d. Poor demand. Market is depressed. ?'
"Australian Frozen, Meat.—Good average quality light crossbred lamb B%d, heavy Bd. Market is easier. Good average quality crossbred mutton, heavy and light sd.
"Pork.—Nominal'price on spot, 9%d to 10dThere are no available stocks."
