Dr. Cedric Hicks, whP is going out to Adelaide in March to take up the M;.rks Lectureship in Applied Physiology and the Sheridan Besegx.ch Fellowship in Medicine, has had the' degree of Doctor of Philosophy conferred on him by Cambridge University. He is the first New ' Zealaiider to achieve that distinction. Di\' Hicks is taking out a special colony of caiieer animals as a gift to the Adelaide University from the Imperial .Cancer Research Fund.
