QUEEN'S THEATRE.
Patrons of the Queen's Theatre last evening were treated to a double-itar programme of a high order. The njst attraction shown was "Broken Barriers," a production of unusual power dealing in a novel manner with the divorce problem as it affects the younger generation. The cast ia an exceptionally strong one, and includes such favourites as Adolphe Menjou, George Fawcett, Robert Agnew, James Kirkwood, Robert Frazer, Winifred Bryson, Vera Reynolds, Norma Shearer, Ruth Stonehouse, and Mac Busch. As a second attraction, the Vidor production, "Proud Flesh,, adapted from the sfory by Lawrence Rising, is screened. Eleanor Boardman, a popular young actress, is seen in the leading role, and she has the support of Harrison Ford and Pat O'Malley. There are many thrilling incidents in the picture, which serve to give an insight into the terrible results of the great San Francisco earthquake. In addition to the main pictures, a fine supporting programme is shown. This includes another episode of the exciting serial, "Samson of the Circus." Attractive music is supplied by the Queen's Orchestra.
