A tram come to a sudden stoppage and caused a young lady to rit down abruptly in the lap of a sedate-looking elderly gentleman. "Oh I beg your pardon I" she gasped, in horrified accents as she "broke away." Not at all, not at all. Pray don't mention it," said the old gentleman, politely. "Very pleased, I'm sure, to oblige; only, you see, I'm not licensed to carry passengers.
