EMPRESS THEATRE.

Two big pictures afford rare entertainment this week at the Empress Theatre. "Paths to Paradise," a Paramount picture, gtarring Raymond Griffith and Betty Compson, is most enjoyable. It is in essence a comedy of irresistible force, and has the supreme merit of having a powerful moral. "This Woman," a Master picture, is remarkable fov the originality displayed in the plot and the distinction of the cast. The supporting programme includes a comedy and tho latest Pathe Gazatte. The Empress Orchestra, under Mr. M. F. Bixon, renders an appropriate selection of incidental music.
