in the Futurists to be presented at the Paramount Theatre •on Friday, Messrs. G. W. Desmond and Cyril Northcote are said to have brought together a company of artists who give a performance of burlesque, comic opera, tragedy, comedy, farces, vaudeville, and eoi^ervatorium concert all blended together into one harmonious whole. The dressing, scenery, and mountings arc a feature of the presentation. Headed by Cyril Northcote, a comedian of note, the Futurists have made a name for themselves in Auckland, and there is no room to doubt the fact that Wellington will be just as appreciative of this bright show. The company is strong in comedians, chief among them being Messrs. G. W. Desmond. Cyril Northcate, Gus Dawson, and Desey. Among the ladies are Miss Ira Love (soubrette). Kitten Dnlgleish (sonbrcttc), Winnie Edgeiton (soprano), Gladys Tlioinun (contralto), and the Cabaret Kittens Ballet. George Corelli (operatic teuor) is said to be an artist of outstanding merit. Barry Ross (wlio possesses a pleasing baritone voice) presents a number of popular items, while Jack O'Cal-, laghan, the jazz drummer, adds in no mean way to the success of the performance. The Futurists will be presented in conjunction- with the usual picture programme. The box plan for the season is open at the Utility Stationery Shop, nest to theatre).
