GRAND OPERA HOUSE.

Another packed house last night, gave a great reception to the brilliant company o£ J. C. Williamson Entertainers now at the Grand Opera House. IToremost on the programme-Hind completely deserving his place to judge from the applause which greets his every move —is Herschel Henlere, described as "the clown atHhe piapo." Henlere i« no mere drawing-room entertainer; he is an artist, and his playing is a revelation, comprising classics and jazz items, all executed with- the same extraordinary skill. Long aB is his act, it is by no means' long enough for the enthusiastic audience, and recalls are the order each evening. Leading the supports is Scott Sanders, a delightful Scotch comedian and composer of many popular numbers. Lee Mason and Sonny present an unusual act which keeps the audience guessing, and the Three Swiftg/ are clever jugglers and patter artists. New steps are introduced by Lydia and Desmond, while the Benos, Alma and Ben, execute some daring trapeze work. A wonderful contortionist act is presented by Fantasi, a. child athlete, and the whole entertainment is enhanced by orchestral gems. There will 1 be a matinee on New Year's Day."
