MELBOURNE,,This Diy!-'' The Commonwealth steamship owners called upon guarantors t>f the 'agreement concluded with the Seaman's Union fn 6th Auguat'to make good : heir guarantee, and as a result it is believed several steamers, including the Uliintro*, which have .been idle in Australian ports for many_ weeks, will be manned shortly. This development follows a conference of owners with the Trades Hall Council. One of the guarantom, Lowhead, sailed by the Port Melbourne for New Zealand.
