ECONOMIC SOCIETY'S JOURNAL
The newly-established Economic Society of Australia and New Zealand has issued the first number of its official journal, which it has called the "Economic Record." It is proposed to issue the journal twice each year. The first number contains seven articles dealing with economic problems, such as the Australian' tariff and the standard of living, wages, and production, Australian banking and exchange, and group settlement in
Western Australia. The contributors include Professors J. B. Bridgeman, D. B. Copland, E. Shtnn, H. Heaton, Messrs. C, H. Wiekeni, J. T. Sutcliffe, and A. H. Toeker. -■.
