At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union, Mr. Meek (Otago) moved the following remit oonoerninj wrestling! C«tch;a«-c*teh-can (1) the stranglehold, the lull Nelson, and breaking of fingers »nd toes is barred. (2) Shoulders to be pinned on the ground for two seconds (pin fall). (3) No grease or any foreign matter, to bemused on any part of the body. The mover said that the proposed rule had been acted -upon here for quite « number of years. It w»s a protection from, the more barbarous styles of-wrestung followed in former days, and would place: it on a"cleaner plane. The remit was earried. ■
