WANGANUI, This Day.
The North Island rifle shooting championship meeting was continued to-day under favourable conditions. Thirty riflemen are eligible for the championship match, headed by H. Hunt (Wgnganui), 282, with H. Simmons (Wtnganui), 27D, next. The competition in the big event is keen, and the result of the championship ■will be known this evening.
