ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE

(OMITID PRESS ASSOCIATION—COMUOHT.) (Received 29th December, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. William Henry Curtis was remanded'on a charge of feloniously wound' ing Mrs. Timson, with intent to commit murder. Bail was. declined.

Curtis was arrested in Wellington on 7th December on the arrival of the Makura. ,Thewarrant charged him with, having wounded Annia Louisa Timson at Sydney* on 30th November, 1923,. with intent to murder her.- He was later brought before the Court, when Chief-Detective Kemp stated, in for a remand, that an escort would take Curtis back to Sydney. The remand was granted by, Mr. E. Page, S.M.
