THE APPOINTMENT OF WOMEN
ELECTORAL REFORM.
(Ii.NIKD PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPIRIGHT.) (Received 29th December, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The Government will not be able to appoint any women to the Legislative Council for some months, till the Constitution Amendment Bill has received the Royal assent.
The chief measure for Parliament when it resumes is consideration of tho Electoral Bill, seeking to' revert to single seats, with the first past the post system of voting. The Legislative Council^previously rejected the latter part, substituting preferential voting.
