BOYS LEAGUE
A meeting of the Wellington Boys' League Management Committee was held in .the Stop Out Clubrooms last evening, those present being: Messrs. D,. P. Mason (in the chair), H. Spolsky, E. Heath, P. C. Gentry, and J. Hitchen (secretary).
A protest from the" Marist Club seniors boys' team, which had been held over from the previous meeting pending further information, was dismissed.
The secretary was instructed to write the-Director of Parks and Reserves, thanking him for prompt attention to the league's complaint re grounds. • A letter from tho Wellington Cricket -Association concerning lectures on cricket was received.
A late entry by the Lyall Bay. Club was left to the secretary to deal with.
It was decided to ask the Wellington Cricket Association for some definite statement regarding the .allocation of the Basin Beserve to the league for ttio representative match with Auckland on Bth. and 9th January. . .- ; ■ . Consideration of a protest from the Karori Club against Institute was deferred, pending the hearing of evidence by both captains at the league's next meeting. A sub-committee, comprising Messrs. Mason, Gentry, and Hitchen, was set up to review ,the whole of the league rules. ■■ • ... <,:..._■!.. ..
