Midwives Registration Act, 1925, it is necessary that all persons who desire their names to be published in,- the j "Gazette" as Nurses or as Midwives shall j forward to the Secretary of the Registration Board a request that 'their names so appear, together with their addresses and-other particulars. Failure to forward such a request may result in the assumption that the person concerned is no longer on the Register. NOTICE TO ALL MATERNITY NURSES. TTNDER Section 13, paragraph (c), of *-* the Nurses and Midwives Registration Act, 1925, those women who are not registered as Midwives but who desire to continue in practise as Maternity Nurses can be registered as such if they prove to the satisfaction of the Nurses and Midwives Registration Board that they have for not less than twelve months prior to Ist January, 1926, been regularly engaged in practice as Maternity Nurses in New Zealand. They must apply for registration not later than the first day of January, 1927, forwarding the necessary certificates as to experience and enclosing a post office receipt for the registration fee of £1. Any per^ son omitting to make such application will be, after that date; barred entirely from practising unless after undergoing the necessary course and passing the State Examination as prescribed by the Regulations under the above Act. AH intending to register under this Section of the Act are urged to iodge their application for registration at once.
