i His Excellency the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, will inspect the Wellington College Cadets at 3 p.m. tomorrow on the college grounds, in the presence of parents and friends of the boys.
Bishop Kempthorne, of Polynesia arrived by the R.M.S. Tahiiti yesterday. _ Dr. Hardwick-Smith returned to Wellington this morning from the South.
Sir Heaton Rhodes .was a passenger this morning by the Maori from Lyttelton.
Mr. H. A. Lo Cren,. of Timaru, was a passenger by the Tahiti from San Francisco yesterday.
.Their Honours Mr. Justice Frazer and Mr. Justice MacGregor arrived from the South during the week-end.
Herr Gustavo Slapsoffski, musical director for the Dunedin Exhibition, was a .passenger by the Maunganui from bydnoy to-day.

A passenger from San Francisco by the R.M.S. Tahiti yesterday was Mr. E. N. Griffith, who is on his way to join Messrs. M'Donald, Hamilton/and Co., shipping managers, Australia. Mr. Uriffith is accompanied by Mrs. Griffith and his daughter, Miss M. Griffith
