The "Daily Mail" points out that if the- Royalists are successful at the Athens municipal elections, which aro now proceeding, the abolition of the Republic and the ■ restoration of the Monarchy will be possible. It asks "Where is General Pangalos finding the money froni for the war?' Greece is already in a precarious financial position, and is only enabled to'carry on by the League of Nations sponsoring the 1924 loan, amounting to 12 millions, of which Britain contributed 7£ millions."
