POLICE PROTECTION IF NECESSARY

BRISBANE, This Day. _ The Premier, in a statement after his interview with the Strikers' Committeej said he had emphasised that conl must be supplied for the refrigerators, and suggested that if mi arrangement could be made it would not affect the ultimate result, of the- strike; and if the owners took legitimate steps to supply coal, tho Government would be compelled to give them police protection.
