The Waikato Huut Club Meeting was held in fine weather, and with a big attendance. The track was in good order. Tne totalisator handled £40,763 -IUS, compared with £43,866 10s last yeur. Results:—
Maideu Steeplechase, of 200 soys; about two miles and three-quarters.—Colouel Abbey, 9.0, 1; Hats 0i1',.9.0, 2; Auburn, 9.0, 3. All started. Won by a furlong, third horse two furlongs baci. Time, smin 55sec. Bardowie &ack Handicap, o£ 200 soys; six furlongs.—FiMt Division: Ohlnemuri, 7.0, 1; Sulla, 7.0, 2; leg Away, 7.0, 3. Scratched: Seaday. Won by 1 half a head, third horse a neck buck. Time, imin 10 2-sseo.
Hunters' Hurdles Handicap, of 350 soys; about one mile and three-quarters.—King's Guard, I).}, 1; l'endeunis, 9.3, 2; Arsene Lupin, 9.10, 3. Scratched: Kauri King, Keudnl, Smoke. Auburn. Won by a length and a half, third horse half a length back. Time, 3inin 21 S-55CC.
