(u.vrrfiD press association—copirjoht.) MELBOUENE, 26th October. Neville Percival will ride Tookarby in the Melbourne Cup. The jockey J. King has arrived from England. The Australian E. T. O'.gullivan, wJio trained 118 winners in England ia five years, has arrived. Frank Dempsey will ride -Sarpedon in the Maxibyrnong Plate. Pilliewinkie, who suffered from an injured foot, is practically all right. J. Brown v/ill ride Bard of Avon in the Cup. A. Wilson will ride Friarsdale. K. Bracken will ride Amounis in the Derby. The following Melbourne Cup scratchings are announced :—Heroic," All Sunshine, Textile, Sandringham, Lauee, Meteoric, Garrula, and Phocien. Tho final Cup acceptances are due tomorrow. Nigger Minstrel and Phoenix Park are both engaged.
