KARACHI, 25th October
Tho "Daily Gazette" has received a report from Bushire that an earthquake accompanied the cyclone in the Persian Gulf. It is estimated that seven thousand perished.. The pearl fishing fleet was practically wiped out, and over two hundred boats were sunk. Naval ships in the gulf lost two of their boats, but one was subsequently recovered. Tamb and Henjam Islands suffered seriously, and several acres of date palms were devastated.
