Grade matches were continued, on Saturday. For St. Albans against Sydenhani, C. G. Crawford made 64 not out, and F. Woods 50- For East Christchurch against Linwood, J. M'Ewin compiled 57 and G. R. Gregory 43. R. Read got four wickets for 60 and G. \V. Russell four for 30. For R-iccarton against ... West Christchurch, C. E. Evans knocked up 53 and C. E. Guiney 46. J. L. Findlay got four wickets for 21. DUNEDIN, 25th October.
The season opened on Saturday with grade fixtures. Grange compiled 238 (Galland 100, Knight 87) against Albion, who have made 13 without th& loss of a wicket. Dunedin have scored 175 for eight wickets (Casey 66 not out) against Carisbrook.
