TIYOLI THEATRE.

A splendid film dealing with tho life history of the great American President, Abraham Lincoln, was screened <at the Tivoli Theatre last evening. Tho whole career of the great leader, from his birth in a snow-swept cabin in the West to his martyrdom at tho hands of a, cowardly assassin in Ford's Theatre in Washington, is faithfully depicted. He appears as a youth, courageous, daring; as a hardy pioneer, fighting fierce elements, and later as a Mississippi River boatman. His meeting with Anne Rutledge, and his tender love for this beautiful Western flower, lends a pretty touch of romance. How Lincoln became a lawyer, and mnde his first speech, is told with faithful regard to fact, and the famous debate between Douglas, tho little giant, and Abo Lincoln, tho/son of the backwoods, makes an interesting chapter. How Mary T'odd decided to marry the young Westerner at their first meeting and tho rivalry of Lincoln and Douglas for tho hand of Mary lend romantic touches to the moving drama. Scenes "when he is raised' to the Presidency, and finally when he is killed in the hour of his triumph, give a finale to the film not easily forgotten. George Billings portrays the role of Lincoln, with Ruth Clifford as Anne, and Nell Craig as Mrs. Lincoln. The picture is supported by "Success," in which Brandon Tynan and Naomi Cliilders play tho leads. "Success" will he screened daily at 11 a.m., 2 p.m.. and 7 p.m., and "Abraham Lincoln" at noon, 3 p.m., and 8 p.m.
