Hockly (Eotqrua) when speaking in the House of Bepresentatives yesterday on the/Rangitaiki Plains Cdmmission report.: The Minister, said Mr. Hockly, had given proof of his fitness for the position. : His long experience on the land, combined with his astute cqmmonsense and his ■■. ready understanding of the difficulties which onany of the settlers had to face,. had earned him praise wherever he had gone. :.
