THE WELLINGTON CLUB

■Good progress continues to be made in the current tourney for the championship of the Wellington Cbjess Club. Two further rounds have been' disposed of since our last progress report appeared, and the position of the leaders is how as, follows : A. W, Gyles, 9 wins, no losses; G. P. Anderson, 7i— \; :W. E.
